Eagle is a small application which runs only in the background. Apollo uses it to send messages to the Finder asking it to open control panels, folders and items from folder submenus. Eagle runs only under system 7: it does nothing under pre-7 systems. To use Eagle, drop it, with Apollo, on your system folder’s icon and let the Finder place it in the Extensions folder: then restart. Eagle is of absolutely no use without Apollo: Apollo, on the other hand, is pretty useful even without Eagle.
